Yes, celebrities have always come up for one charity or the other and today it is our favorite Snoop Dogg that is entering the fray with the help of the food and beverage market. Snoop Dogg has been actively involved in many different charities and this time around he is working in collaboration with 7-eleven.
The corporate world has always made sure that is comes out to reach out and help a cause, whether it be donating to charities or donating items like wheelchair accessories to those who need them. This time the idea is that 7-eleven has decided to make 20 oz cups (that fit nicely in your drink holder or ours) to bear names of or designed by different celebrities. Snoop Dogg has even pitched in to design one of these cups.
The cups will then be sold in different 7-eleven retail outlets. All the returns from the sales will be diverted to the different charities that the celebrities represent. The lit of celebrities include a host of people like Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Benji Madden who were the forbearers of the program and others like Jennifer Hudson and John Cena followed suit. The company has made great promises for the charity and has a policy of around $250,000 per charity and if the selling of the cups increases then the donations to the charities will also increase. This becomes a win-win situation for the celebrities, for the company, and the charities that each one of them
Snoop Dog has been always actively involved in charities. You may not know, but Snoop Dogg is a huge foot ball fan; there was a time when he even coached his son’s team himself. The sales from his cup will also be directed to his football league known as “The Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL)” where he trains and coaches young children. The children are all around the age of five to thirteen whom Snoop Dogg coaches himself. There are many other things that children are taught, the virtues of discipline, the sportsman’s spirit and the act of self respect, the important virtues of life that will help keep them in good stead.
The new cups are available in almost all 7- eleven stores and will be available until they run out of stock. These large drinks also fit well in our cup holder.
